Okay, with most of my initial functionality done with TheMetaphorClub.com, I’m now moving on to our next stage, which we did very well in the club: gathering a pool of aspiring writers and connecting them with working or published writers.

I put out this call before, got two responses, and one who actually responded to my email back.

I’m looking for 100 Black college students who want to be writers. My goal is to have them work in a group on TheMetaphorClub.com, where they can get mentored by a slew of working writers.

Once we do that, we’ll move on to other occupations, like business, science, etc. Relationships is what I’m looking to develop, but that’s built upon hard work. No one wants to mentor a lazy person.

If any of my UCLA, USC, LMU, or any other working writers would like to join TheMetaphorClub.com and volunteer to be a mentor, feel free.

This is why TheMetaphorClub.com and The Metaphor Club, the co-working space, were different. We have no problem making something happen that should happen.
