For me, sports has come back to life, after the cold sports winter of the summer! LOL English Premier League football, then college football, then the NFL, then the NBA, means that I’m set until mid June…but next year, the World Cup happens, so it’s all great!

I follow college football as well but don’t necessarily have a favorite team.

The cancellation of The Late Show in May of 2026 to me screams higher ups appeasing Trump in order to get that Paramount Skydance merger approved (Still pending FCC approval) also with the approval of public broadcasting getting funds gutted it is a scary time for media in my opinion.

It’s basically showing why reporting failed to knock out Trump from the start. They have no interest in the public interest. And I don’t think, even as a former reporter myself, that we’ve come to grips with that.

You know, I got three episodes into the first season of Squid Games and never came back. I don’t know. It was a great concept to me, but I didn’t really wanna see folks just randomly get killed over and over.
