I’m convinced that the Trumpers specifically, love him because perception-wise at least, he has managed to live in a way they could only dream of, and has thrived and won, doing so. He’s the personification of what they wish they could be and do:
– He unapologetically says whatever tf he wants, when and where he wants.

Lawrence and April… both nailed it in my opinion. Lawrence on the “breaking out of societal box”, there’s definitely a desire to be perceived as independent (cowboy aspirations), plus such a superiority complex and defensiveness about acknowledging white privilege.
