I hate to laugh and I know many who didn’t vote for him will be affected, but we all know those who did, outside of the oligarchs, will suffer immensely. And, well, leopard, meet face.

@tim-albaugh Man, we could see this coming. More and more of our members were searching for jobs and not finding them. There’s also a problem of phantom job listings on places like LinkedIn, where they’re listing jobs openings that don’t exist, but collect resumes.
I think this is gonna get bad quickly.

@alpha1906 obviously I want what’s best for anyone who didn’t vote for him and especially those in targeted communities. But I’m not going to feel badly for anyone who voted R, whether for President or any other R politician.

I always try to figure out…why would folks vote to shoot their own foot? I can’t be THAT much smarter or rational than them. I mean, even if you’re the most racist person in the world, wouldn’t you wanna preserve your own interests? I’ve gotta read more about why people don’t vote their interests…or don’t recognize something as being in their interest in the first place. If anyone has any book recommendations, I’d love to read them.

@alpha1906 well, in our neck of the woods, the MAGAs I have met and interacted with always state Fox News talking points. I hate to say it, but I have come to admire the machine Rs have created to fuel their agenda. No hand wringing. No pause. Just full court press all the way. They get the job done. No matter the collateral damage.
