Welcome New Metaphorians!
The Metaphor Club is a space inspired by the physical Metaphor Club we ran for 7 years in Black LA. The ethos? We love Black folks. And so, we acted like it in our interactions, and we expect that here.
Just a few rules…
1. This space is much different than other social media Black spaces
2. Ways to get blocked…supporting white supremacy, misogyny, homophobia, or any other anti-social POV. Don’t like it? X is right there for you. We block without explanation.
3. Trolling enragement posts. You know what you’re doing.
4. Intentional disrespect.
5. Just being an asshole for no reason.There is no algorithm forcing conversations with people, so you have to be your best human self and not hide behind the keyboard. Disagree all you’d like, but we can reclaim the humanity that we’ve lost in the digital world. If that feels good to you, then welcome. If not, holler at me.
