This is what speaking truth to power means. And it’s a lesson for other hip-hop artists, the ones with much larger platforms, about what it means to be courageous. Nothing tells me that a hip hop artist isn’t as tough as their lyrics, as when they shrink from the spotlight when it comes to politics. Good on this brother.
