A sad loss. Although I was really little when The Cosby Show was at its peak, I understood its impact and as I matured into a teen saw a reflection of myself in Theo.

The cancellation of The Late Show in May of 2026 to me screams higher ups appeasing Trump in order to get that Paramount Skydance merger approved (Still pending FCC approval) also with the approval of public broadcasting getting funds gutted it is a scary time for media in my opinion.

It’s basically showing why reporting failed to knock out Trump from the start. They have no interest in the public interest. And I don’t think, even as a former reporter myself, that we’ve come to grips with that.

You know, I got three episodes into the first season of Squid Games and never came back. I don’t know. It was a great concept to me, but I didn’t really wanna see folks just randomly get killed over and over.

My series of the year was Mobland. Totally enjoyable. Made me want to watch more things written by Ronan Bennett. I’m finding the third season of the Gilded Age to be a bit boring and predictable. It’s feeling more and more like a warmed over Downton Abbey remake, although I love how Salli Richardson gives the Black storyline a lot more…

I’m currently all in on the 50 Cent cinematic universe. BMF is currently airing, and the season is off to a good start. I’m also re-watching Animal Kingdom now that it’s on Netflix. I finished Godfather of Harlem and eagerly await season 5.
