So, I’m about three years past my re-writing deadline… yeah, this is insane, but it turned out to be a great thing. I wasn’t thrilled about updating my Divine Nine book, mainly because I thought the format was outdated. But when my editor permitted me to write an entirely different book, whew, baby, talking about freedom.

On Facebook, I talked about how last week, some of my white HS classmates tried to engage me in a discussion about race, racism, and Charlie Kirk, and one called me arrogant, condescending (guilty!) because I wouldn’t, and told him so, and wasted my time teaching him. And they were shocked and angry that I dared to know what I was talking…
